A managed service provider or MSP provides valuable resources to organizations at a price point which could not be achievable on their own. Along with delivering strategic project implementations, MSP’s can also take on the day-to-day operations of an organization’s IT department in the form of an ESM. The operations control, management, monitoring of IT infrastructure, applications, and resources. ESM’s handle network monitoring, server capacity, storage, software distribution, asset inventory, and vendor management.


Proactive Support

 

Proactive support creates the process and policies to help the organization with a wholistic support strategy. Organizations will be managed with a full support lifecycle view including service level agreements, infrastructure status, trending topics, training and security overview. This is accomplished through the use of an IT Service Management tool and methodology that also provides visible updates on the lifecycle of a support request. Providing measurable statistics on how service management is handling requests and overall support status are key strategies of the proactive support model.
